Empathy mapping is a simple technique to ensure a human-centered focus during a Design Sprint. Users are interviewed and observed in the context of their environment as they perform real tasks; the user narrates what they are doing as they complete the task, the observer asks questions to gain insight into the discrete steps and get to the underlying thought process.
